Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 October 2026
Red's Tree Farm respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you order from this website, why we need it and how we look after it.
What we collect
- Your name, email address and phone number.
- Your delivery address, if you choose delivery.
- Your order: tree size, stand, delivery or pickup, the date you chose and what you paid.
We don't collect or store your card details. Payments are handled by Stripe, which processes your card under its own security and privacy standards.
Why we use it
- To process, prepare and deliver your order, or have it ready for pickup.
- To contact you about your order, including calling you on delivery day.
- To answer your questions and handle any changes or refunds.
- To keep the records we're required to keep by law.
We don't sell your information, and we don't send you marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with the services we use to run our online orders:
- Stripe, to take your payment and email your receipt.
- Google (Google Sheets), where we keep our order list.
- Netlify, which hosts this website.
Some of these providers may store information outside Australia. We only use well-established providers with strong security practices. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
This website doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Stripe uses cookies on its checkout page to process payments safely and prevent fraud.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet our legal and tax obligations, then delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we don't need to keep it. Email hello@redstrees.com.au and we'll respond as soon as we can.
Questions or concerns
If you have a question or a privacy concern, email us at hello@redstrees.com.au. If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
